Channelling Spirit Through Trance Mediumship

Writing the books was a collaborative affair. They are the creation of spirit and the source of the content. Janet’s mind has been the first point of contact. She opens a mental conversation with her main guide. This takes the form of heightened consciousness. It is also known as trance mediumship. The word ‘trance’ can be a bit off-putting. It does not mean losing control and acting crazy. This is a higher level of Mediumship where a strong bond is willingly created between Janet and Running Water, her main guide who was a Navaho Indian, and other guides who wish to communicate with us. It is a gentle melding of minds that allows communication to flow easily.

Voices of Spirit through Janet

Thoughts are transformed into spoken words uttered through Janet’s vocal cords. The conversations are recorded and added to the manuscripts unchanged. Here’s an example from the spirit Guiding Light on how we work together:

‘Once again, we come with love and friendship. We work with you. You work with us. We work jointly. We cannot do this without you. You cannot do this without us. We as a collective look forward to coming through and blend our energies with you on the earth. We work with many mediums upon the earth worldwide.

We don’t stick to one part of your globe we blend out energies in with anyone we feel will be compatible with ours. We work with everyone differently, according to the way their energies are structured and at a particular moment in time. It is a joint affair.’

Messages from the Celestial Realms

As you would expect there are hours of messages on our world and enlightenment on theirs. These are weaved within the chapters of all three books with contributions from celestial energies and guides who have returned from a life on earth. This next piece on Angels is from Josiah a great friend of ours who lived with his wife Eliza, daughter Ruth and son Ezra close to Richmond in Virginia USA around 1865. They were a Quaker family.

Earth Angels, Spirit Helpers, and Heavenly Beings

These are his words:

‘It’s said on your earth that the angels play a very important part in helping the return of a new spiritual energy. There are earth angels, spirit angels and heavenly angels. The Earth Angel. Someone who is there at the precise moment in time when they are needed, whether it be to help a person by listening to them, by comforting them in sad times, to aid them by helping them to cross the road to see them safely on the other side. There are many of them on the earth, they have no labels, they are just full of goodness within to help those in need, they have been given a mission by the spirit guardians to help many on the earth.

The Spirit Angels. These are the energies who are there ready and waiting when the returned soul transcends through the light back to the homeland, they have many labels, sisters of mercy, carers, nurses and doctors, any energy who is willing to help to comfort the returning soul to give them reassurance that now their earth time is over they are back in the homeland surrounded by love and peace.

Heavenly Angels. The description of these angelic spirits is of the purest light that has never been part of the physical world, their mission is to welcome back the new born or any energy that has not been affected by the physical world. These angels have been untouched by human intervention.

What you’ll find inside

As you turn the pages you will see other subjects to explore. The three books are divided in two. The first chapters are dedicated to Earth Side Spirituality. Where we talk about the duality of life in human and spirit form and dive deeper into Mediumship and training. The second part is Spirit Side. Where we concentrate on the spirit world, with more detail about the realms of Spirit, the process of leaving and adjusting to no longer having a body. You will meet our guides and learn about their lives, their personalities and the job of work they do to support us. They were once real people, just like us. Also, we’ll describe the benefit of Spiritual Healing where soothing energy is conducted by a Medium to help ease physical and or mental stress. We know from readers that some treat the books as reference aids where they’ve used marker pens to highlight passages.

Book Two: Believe in Spirit

An Inspiration

‘Well, I’ve made good use of the afternoon. Katie went to the shops, my youngest daughter went to her room, and I finished off your book!
I have to say, it’s far more satisfying to devour it in large chunks. It also gives you a better sense of the structure, which I thought was spot on. By devoting large parts of the book to certain ‘large’ subjects – like reincarnation, and what happens when we pass over – the reader really gets the chance the immerse themself in the material.
Speaking for myself, I got the most from the descriptions of passing over, and beyond. Some aspects – such as the life review – I was familiar with already, but most of it I wasn’t. It’s riveting stuff, made all the more convincing – and reassuring – by the verbatim reports from Spirit.
Talking of which … it was an inspired decision to include messages from Spirit. Not only do they inform and reinforce the purpose and point of the book, they break it up and give the layout some variety, which aids readability.
And that’s about it, really. It’s a thought-provoking and stimulating book, allowing us not only to imagine our future beyond this incarnation, but giving us the opportunity to influence that future by reviewing – and perhaps changing – how we currently live our life.

My guide to the spirit world

‘Here are my thoughts: I have always been interested in ‘the other side’ and the concept of Mind Body Spirit – ever since I read Living Magically by Gillian Edwards many, many years ago. I particularly enjoyed the way you bring Spirit into everyday understanding and the details you give about what it takes to be a Medium. I think for many the Spirit world can be intimidating and scary – but your book tells us that we have no need to be afraid of anything as we are being looked after at all times, even though sometimes it doesn’t ‘feel’ like it! I would really like to read the book again (more slowly, so that I can savour it), but as a hard copy so that I can underline and highlight passages that I think are really significant and make the book my own reference guide to the Spirit world.’
